Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept payment by cheque and also by credit card via our secure Worldpay payment facility.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.
In the case of payment by cheque we will not dispatch the goods until the cheque has cleared.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
We only ship to the UK and the rest of Europe. The prices on the site are for delivery within mainland UK. For delivery elsewhere in Europe we will contact you if there are additional charges.
Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 10 business days for UK orders.
We will advise you of delivery times for countries elsewhere in Europe.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is included in the prices.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee
This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights. The BackPack Groom 'N Vac must be used in a safe manner in accordance with the instructions provided and having regard to your horse's temperament. We cannot accept any liability whatsoever for loss, including consequential loss, damage or injury caused by misuse of the machine, failure to follow the instructions or failure to take sensible precautions when working around animals.
The BackPack Groom 'n Vac (new model)
The BackPack Groom 'n Vac new model comes with a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty in respect of defects in both materials and workmanship. However, the warranty expressly excludes consumable parts such as brushes, tools hoses and tubes that are considered replaceable during the normal working life of the machine.
Claims will not be accepted if they are the result of fair wear and tear, misuse or abuse of any kind. In particular claims will be rejected if the machine has been used without a filter or if any moisture or hazardous substance has been allowed to enter it or if the filters have not been regularly cleaned and dust bags replaced (or if reusable, cleaned). The machine is for dry use only and is not to be used to vacuum horse droppings.
The warranty period commences from the date the goods are received by you. All warranty claims must be processed through BackPack Groomer, the dealer from whom the equipment was purchased. You may be asked to produce proof of purchase.
The BackPack Groom 'n Vac Pro
The BackPack Groom 'n Vac Pro comes with a one year manufacturer's warranty in respect of faulty material and/or workmanship excluding consumable parts such as brushes, tools hoses and tubes that are considered replaceable during the normal working life of the machine. Labour costs on claims after 3 months will be the purchaser's responsibility. Warranty repairs can only be carried out by an authorised distributor or service agent and freight costs will be the purchaser's responsibility.

21 DAY TRIAL OFFER
Under our 21 day trial offer your rights are extended and you have a period of 21 days from the day of receipt of the groomer to notify us - in writing by post or email - that you wish to cancel the transaction. Goods must be returned in the original packaging, undamaged, clean, and in the same condition in which they were dispatched. Provided they are undamaged and in the same condition we will make a full refund and your reasonable costs of posting.
We will only accept the return of goods after the 21 day period referred to above if they are covered by the terms of the manufacturer's warranty.
